Сингл «Hotel California» в стиле кантри-рок и хард-рок от легендарной группы Eagles был выпущен в 1972 году в рамках альбома Desperado. Композиция была очень популярна и заслуженно завоевала награду «Гремми» как лучшая запись года, в номинации за лучшее групповое вокальное исполнение в стиле поп песня не вышла в финал. «Hotel California» занял лидирующую позицию в чарте США по версии Billboard Hot 100.
