Авторами композиції Am I wrong стал норвежский дуэт Nico&Vinz. Песня буквально взорвала мировые хит-парады, обеспечив исполнителям ошеломительный успех и признание. Только за одну неделю трек подскочил на 51 позицию британского чарта. Песню по праву можно назвать летним хитом 2014 года.

Хотя изначально, с момента своего возникновения, группа носила имя Envy, но после того, как хит Am I wrong побил все рекорды, исполнители сменили свое название на Nico&Vinz. Композиция стала синглом и вошла во 2-ой студийный альбом под именем «Black Star Elephant». Релиз альбома состоялся на шоу Эллен ДеДженерс.
